A focus on quality

Showersave products are tested and certified by independent institutes across Europe. Below you will find an overview of our certificates and approvals.

Kiwa: independent certification of quality and efficiency

Kiwa is an independent certification institute. Q-Blue holds Kiwa product certificate K95352/03 for the Showersave QB1 series. It is based on evaluation guideline BRL-K656 for heat exchangers for the indirect heating of drinking water. The certificate covers use in hot water installations up to 10 bar and 90°C. The efficiency of our units is declared by Kiwa according to NTA 8800.

ETA-Danmark (Denmark)

ETA-Danmark is an independent body that approves building products. The QB1 series and the MultiVert hold a VA approval from ETA-Danmark, which is also valid in Sweden.

DVGW (Germany)

DVGW is the German quality and safety mark for products in the gas and water sector. Showersave units are DVGW-certified.

Nationale Milieudatabase (NMD), the Netherlands

Stichting NMD manages the National Environmental Database (Nationale Milieudatabase) and the Assessment Method for the Environmental Performance of Buildings (Bepalingsmethode Milieuprestatie Gebouwen). The Showersave XE series has a Category 1 product declaration in the NMD.

WRAS (United Kingdom)

WRAS approval confirms that a water fitting complies with the UK Water Supply Regulations. Showersave XE units are fully WRAS-approved.

Certified component by the Passive House Institute

The Passive House Institute (PHI) certifies components for use in Passive House buildings. The Showersave QB1-21XE, QB1-10XE, QB1-21 and QB1-21HE are certified components. The certificates are renewed every year.
